Men’s Tennis Turns Away Suffolk, 6-1
BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Suffolk University, 6-1, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Saturday evening at the South Campus Tennis Courts.
The Gulls grabbed the opening doubles point by winning all three flights.
James Zeolie (Amherst, N.H.) and Greg Noroian (Worcester, Mass.) jump-started the Gulls at No. 3 (6-1) before Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) and Aaron Terpko (Shrewsbury, Mass.) clinched the point at No. 1 (6-0).
Spencer Smith (Albany, N.Y.) and Eric Scalici (Essex Falls, N.J.) concluded doubles play with a 6-1 triumph at No. 2.
In singles, Smith (No. 5, 6-1, 6-0), Noroian (No. 6, 6-0, 6-0), and Scalici (No. 3, 6-1, 6-0) followed with decisive victories at their respective flights to secure the match win.
Terpko was also victorious at No. 4 (6-1, 6-2), while Drew Benporath (South Guildford, Western Australia) registered a hard-fought win at No. 1 (3-6, 6-1, 11-9).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott has won four straight matches.
- All four victories have come in conference play.
- The Gulls are 4-1 at home this season.

Endicott (6-6, 4-0 CNE) hosts crosstown rival Gordon College on Tuesday, March 31 at 3 PM. Suffolk (1-4, 1-4 CNE) visits UNE next Tuesday at 3 PM.
