Men’s Tennis Blanks Saint Joseph (Conn.), 7-0
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The Endicott men's tennis team defeated the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), 7-0, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Saturday afternoon at the Elizabeth Ferry Speer Tennis Complex.
In doubles, the Gulls claimed the point behind victories from Eric Scalici (Essex Fells, N.J.) / Spencer Smith (Albany, N.Y.) at No. 1 (6-1) and James Zeolie (Amherst, N.H.) / Greg Noroian (Worcester, Mass.) at No. 2 (6-2).
Scalici and Smith also claimed wins in singles (No. 1, 7-5, 6-1 | No. 3, 6-1, 6-3) alongside Ethan Hopman (Summit, N.J.) and Noroian at No. 2 (6-2, 6-4) and No. 4 (6-0, 7-5), respectively.

"We came out with good energy today," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Dejan Stankovic. "And we also did a good job of keeping up our fight throughout the match."
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls' seven conference victories this season (7-1) are the most since 2010-11 (8-3).
- Scalici played his first match at No. 1 singles today.
- No. 3 doubles, No. 5 singles, and No. 6 singles were won by default.

Endicott (9-7, 7-1 CNE) hosts Wentworth on Tuesday, April 14 at 3 PM. Next week's match will serve as Senior Day for the program. Saint Joseph (3-8, 2-6 CNE) welcomes Nichols to its campus next Tuesday at 3 PM.
