Kadel Claims CNE Player of the Week Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. — Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) has been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Kadel went 6-0 in his singles and doubles matches, all at the No. 1 flight, against Wentworth (W, 6-1), Roger Williams (W, 4-3) and Hartford (W, 7-0) on the week.
Versus Wentworth, Kadel posted a 6-1 doubles win and straight set 6-3, 6-3 singles victory.
Followed up in a pivotal CNE win over Roger Williams with a 6-2 doubles win to help the Gulls win the doubles point. Then after dropping the first set, 6-4, followed up winning 6-0 to force a third set in which he won in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-5).
Then against Hartford, won both his matches in tiebreaker first in doubles 7-6 (8-6) and in singles, 4-6, 6-2, 10-4.
This is Kadel's third career CNE Player of the Week honors (4/22/25 and 4/28/25).
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (12-7) will now await their seeding and opponent in the upcoming CNE Tournament.
