Feldman named NECVA Rookie of the Week

JERSEY CITY, N.J. - Endicott College freshman Brent Feldman (West Palm Beach, Fla.) has been named NECVA New England Region Rookie of the Week as announced by Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association league offices on Tuesday. Feldman has been a strong presence for the Gulls as they currently sit at 3-3 overall and 2-0 in the NECVA New England Region.
The freshman right side played an integral part in the Gulls upset of No. 5 Carthage, 3-1, earlier in the season at the Wisconsin Invitational. Feldman had 11 kills to go along with two blocks in the four-set victory. Feldman has also had a pair of eight-kill matches against Medaille and Elms as well as having seven blocks in the Elms match. So far this season, the freshman is averaging 2.11 kills per set and 1.00 blocks per set, good for second on the team.
Brent Feldman and the Endicott College Gulls return to the court on Tuesday as they travel to MIT for a NECVA matchup with the Engineers scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
