Toth, Sutherland, and Player of the Year John Osborne Lead NECC All-Conference
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – After leading Endicott men’s volleyball team to an undefeated record in conference play and the program’s third consecutive NECC Championship, junior outside hitter John Osborne (Freehold, N.J.) was named NECC Player of the Year and leads a group of three Gulls that earned a spot on the 2015 NECC All-Conference Team. First Team junior middle Daniel Toth (Vernon, N.J.) and Honorable Mention sophomore middle Ryan Sutherland (Fairport, N.Y.) were also recognized.

Endicott Men's Volleyball All-Conference History
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – After leading Endicott men's volleyball team to an undefeated record in conference play and the program's third consecutive NECC Championship, junior outside hitter John Osborne (Freehold, N.J.) was named NECC Player of the Year and leads a group of three Gulls that earned a spot on the 2015 NECC All-Conference Team. First Team junior middle Daniel Toth (Vernon, N.J.) and Honorable Mention sophomore middle Ryan Sutherland (Fairport, N.Y.) were also recognized.
Osborne led the NECC in total kills (302) and kills per set (3.73), ranked fifth in attack percentage (.242), and fifth in both total digs (184) and digs per set (2.27) was also named to the NECC All-Conference First Team after getting an Honorable Mention nod as a freshman. In 2015, Osborne was a three-time NECC Player of the Week, Most Valuable Player of the NECC Tournament, and an All-Tournament honoree at the MIT Scramble.
In Endicott's 12 conference matches, Osborne was especially dominant. The junior sported a .325 hitting percentage, crushing an average of 4.45 kills per set while defensively getting just over two digs per set. Out of conference, facing a daunting schedule that included top-15 nationally-ranked programs like Kean, Elmira, MIT and Rivier, Osborne excelled with 3.23 kills and 2.44 digs per set. Overall on the season through the NECC Tournament, Osborne also contributed in Endicott's top tier blocking scheme with 49 total blocks.
Toth earns his first collegiate all-conference award after posting an impressive 1.12 blocks per set, 101 total blocks (12 solo), a .349 hitting percentage, and 156 kills (1.73 per set) this spring. Toth was especially impressive in-conference, averaging 1.22 blocks per set (45 total) and a .400 hitting percentage with 67 kills (1.81 per set). Toth was named NECC Player of the Week on March 16th in a 2-1 week for the Gulls that included two conference wins.
Sutherland made a major leap forward in his sophomore campaign, leading Endicott and the NECC with a 1.14 blocks per set average. Offensively, Sutherland struck 119 kills overall via a .308 hitting percentage and, like Toth, was even better in NECC matches with a .347 attack percentage (64 kills) and a 1.41 blocks per set average with 52 total blocks.
