Norris Claims NEVC Rookie of the Week

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's volleyball freshman Ethan Norris (Hollis, N.H.) has been named the New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Norris compiled 22 kills (2.20 k/s), a .375 hitting percentage, 45 assists (4.50 a/s), two service aces, 16 digs, and six total blocks (one solo/ five block assists) during Endicott's 2-1 week.
He started the week against No. 18 Lasell with four kills (.800) and 21 assists in a 3-0 setback. Norris added four digs and two service aces in the match.
Then in a four-set win over No. 16 MIT, the freshman logged nine putaways and 11 assists. He also had five digs and four block assists.
Followed up in a sweep over Wheaton (Mass.) with nine kills again (.667) alongside 13 assists. The Hollis, N.H. native finished with seven digs and two total blocks (one solo/one assist) as well.
This is Norris' first career NEVC Rookie of the Week honor.
