Lacolla and Wright named ECAC New England All-Stars

ECAC Division III New England All-Stars
CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Senior outfielder Ashley Wright (Merrimack, N.H.) and sophomore first baseman Jennie Lacolla (Stoneham, Mass.) were both named Second Team honorees on the ECAC Division III New England All-Star squad for their extraordinary efforts on the diamond for the Gulls in 2011.
Wright and Lacolla were also recognized by the NFCA earlier this summer as All-New England players with Wright earning Second Team Outfield honors and Lacolla garnering a First Team At-Large bid. Both players were also highly decorated by the CCC with First Team All-CCC accolades. Lacolla was also the league's Player and Rookie of the Year.
Wright set a career high in batting average (.403), hits (50), extra-base hits (20), runs scored (44), and stolen bases (15) in her final season in the Blue and Green. Lacolla led all Endicott players with a .452 batting average, 52 runs scored, eight homeruns, and 33 walks.
