Professional Aspirations

Completed an internship at That Broadway Smile which is a pediatric dentist. At first, she shadowed the 3 dentists and 6 hygienists, then she was hired as a dental assistant to help patients during operations and cleanings. She is interning with an orthodontist, and then for her senior internship, she hopes to intern with a general dentist and get more hands-on experience. In 10 years, she hopes to be working as a pediatric dentist.

Cailin on her internship experience:

"My first internship with the pediatric dentist really solidified my goal to go to dental school. Not only did it help decide the dental field aspect but also it made me realize I want to continue working with kids. Whether that means specializing in pediatrics or orthodontics, I do want to stay working in this field."

Clubs and Organizations

Played travel softball with Long Island Surge. Member of the Residence Hall Association, Endicott College Buddies on campus, Relay For Life, and ECHO A Cappella.

Community Service

Participated in the Breast Cancer Walk from 2010-2016 where she raised money and donated to the Breast Cancer Society. Took part in Polar Bear Jump which donated to Make-a-Wish Foundation. Tutored with National Honor Society. Was a Peer Coach from 2015-2017. On campus, she is a member of Relay for Life and Team Impact.

Cailin on why community service is important to her: 

"One of my favorite community service projects in high school was called Peer Coaching. It was an "in school" internship where people were chosen to work with students who had disabilities. We guided students and promoted a healthy living style. This specific project is important to me because it was my favorite part of the week, creating friendships with these kids brightened my day. I was attached to every single one of them and as much as I helped them, they also made me a better person."

Fun Fact

She can sing. She also did a semester abroad in Cork, Ireland where she traveled to 7 different countries around Europe.
