GAME ONE: UMass Boston 4, Endicott 2
WP (6-2): Bri Melchionda (Marshfield, Mass.) — 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K
LP (4-3): Analise Grady (Reading, Mass.) — 0.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 0 K
Trailing 2-0 in the sixth inning, the Beacons struck for four runs on back-to-back RBI doubles and consecutive run-producing singles to come away with the game one victory.
Endicott pushed across solo runs in the first (4-3 RBI GO) and fourth (throwing error).
Paige Berdos (Plainville, Mass.) highlighted the offense with a 2-for-3 effort at the plate and one run scored (fourth inning).
Jaylin Couto (Taunton, Mass.) also brought a no-hitter into the fifth inning before a two-out single up the middle broke up the bid.

Cherry notched her fourth shutout of the season to lead UMass Boston to the sweep.
Offensively, the Beacons scored two runs in the fourth (sac fly, two-run single) and another run in the fifth (triple).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- UMass Boston improved to 2-1 in the all-time series.
- Today's doubleheader was the first meeting between the programs since March 15, 2018 (3-0 Gulls win, Clermont, Florida).
- The Beacons are 10-1-1 at home this season.
