    Bristol, R.I. – The Endicott softball team swept Roger Williams, 5-3 and 6-4, in a Conference of New England (CNE) doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon at Paolino Field. 

    GAME ONE: ENDICOTT 5, ROGER WILLIAMS 3

    WP (6-2): Kristen Beebe (Brentwood, N.H.) — 6.1 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 8 K
    LP (7-4): Raegen Germano (Old Tappan, N.J.) —  0.1 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
    SV (5): Analise Grady (Reading, Mass.) — 0.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K

    After a leadoff walk from Vania Moniz (Salem, N.H.), Mia Mitchell (Medford, Mass.) blasted her first-career home run over the left center fence, giving the Gulls a 2-0 lead in the third inning.

    In the sixth inning, Abby McClaflin (Easthampton, Mass.) extended the lead with a bomb to left field, making it a three-run ball game. 

    Roger Williams answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning, cutting into the deficit to make it 3-1.

    Next inning, Kyla Story (Salisbury, Mass.) got things started with a double in the gap, which was followed by a walk. Mitchell delivered a double down the right field line, driving in two runs to extend Endicott's lead to 5-1.

    The Hawks pushed across two runs in the bottom of the seventh, but their comeback effort fell short. 

    Mitchell highlighted the offense with two hits and four RBIs in the game one win, while Elyse Saccoccio (Coventry, R.I.) added two hits.

    GAME TWO: ENDICOTT 6, ROGER WILLIAMS 4

    WP (5-1): Emma Sheehan (Plainville, Mass.) — 5.0 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K
    LP (8-3): Keira Quadros (East Providence, R.I.)     — 2.0 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 1 K
    SV (6): Analise Grady (Reading, Mass.) — 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K

    The Gulls came out swinging, picking up two early runs sparked by a base hit to left field from Story.

    Leading 3-1 in the third inning, Kylyn McLaren (Rochester, N.H.) launched one over the left field fence to extend the Gulls' lead to three.

    The Hawks continued to battle, pushing across two runs to cut the deficit to 4-3.

    In the fifth inning, the Endicott bats stayed hot as Catherine Seay (Marlborough, Mass.) ripped a double down the left field line to push the lead to 6-3.

    Grady earned her second save of the day, coming in during the sixth inning and closing the door to secure the 6-4 win.

    McLaren powered the offense with three hits and an RBI, while McClaflin and Seay each chipped in two hits and an RBI.

    BEYOND THE BOX SCORES

    • Endicott leads the all-time series, 53-16.
    • Grady notched her sixth save of the season in game two, which tied the program's single-season record (Robyn Savitske '07).
    • McLaren notched her fifth homerun of the year.
    • Story tied her season-high with two RBIs.
    • Seay picked up her fifth career double.
    • Ninth multi-hit game for Saccoccio.

    Endicott (18-9, 12-2 CNE) welcomes Western New England on Saturday, April 25 at 12/2 PM. Roger Williams (17-11, 9-5 CNE) travels to UMass Dartmouth tomorrow at 3/5 PM.
