    Gulls Picked Second in TCCC Preseason Poll

    SPRINGFIELD, MA - The Commonwealth Coast Conference has released the 2007-2008 women's basketball preseason poll and the Endicott College Gulls have been selected to finish second by the 14 conference coaches.

    Colby-Sawyer (22-6, 16-1 TCCC) received eight of the 14 first-place votes in the 2008 TCCC preseason poll. Endicott College was chosen to finish second and received three first-place votes. Defending TCCC Champion Salve Regina University was picked to finish third and received two first-place votes, while Western New England College was chosen fourth.

    Teams received 14 points for every first-place vote received, 13 points for each second-place vote, 12 points for each third-place vote, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
