Most recently, she served as an assistant coach at SUNY Albany from 2024-2025. In her one season as a member of the Great Danes' staff, Carter helped lead the program to a 26-7 record (14-2 America East; finished as runners up) and a berth in the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT).
Prior to her stint at Albany, Carter spent two seasons (2022-23, 2023-24) with the Princeton Tigers. Over the course of her tenure, Princeton went 49-11 (25-3 Ivy League) with two Ivy League championships and two NCAA Tournament Appearances.

In her playing days, the Albany alum was a standout front court talent. Over the course of her esteemed career, she set the program blocks record (154), graduated top-10 in program history with 642 career rebounds, and was also the 2016 America East Sixth Player of the Year. She was a pivotal piece of three conference champion Albany teams, and was a key factor in the Danes' first round upset win against fifth-seeded Florida in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
Carter graduated from Albany with a bachelor of arts in Communication and Rhetoric Business in 2018, and then went on to complete her MBA in Law and Taxation at Bentley in 2022.
