Bio
Sam Mancinelli joined the Endicott women's basketball coaching staff in May 2026.
Mancinelli was hired by head coach Jamie Insel after previously serving as an assistant on the Tufts University women's basketball coaching staff (2022-26), and as Associate Head Coach since May 2025.
With the Jumbos, Mancinelli helped guide the women's basketball program to unforeseen heights, including a 2025 NCAA Tournament appearance, 2023 NESCAC Conference Championship, and a 2023 NCAA Elite 8 appearance, along with multiple victories over ranked opponents.
Specifically, Mancinelli was tasked with fine-tuning the skills of point guards and guards, leading on-court drills and film breakdowns to enhance individual performances.
Before her time at Tufts, Mancinelli played for fellow Conference of New England (CNE) (formerly Commonwealth Coast Conference; CCC) member Roger Williams University.
With the Hawks, Mancinelli was a 3x captain, a 3x CCC All-Academic honoree, the 2022 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, a 2022 All-CCC third teamer, and a 2x NCAA Tournament member.
She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice in 2021, and completed her Master's in Criminal Justice a year later, in May 2022.
