"While doing the campaign for military families we played a softball game in wheelchairs against veterans who had been injured, and in wheelchairs, and it had been a real eye-opening experience to look at things from another perspective. My cousin had been in the army and though he was never injured it gave me a sense of the dangers and risks you take for others and the stories these men and women had were amazing."
