CANTON, Mass. — The No. 15 nationally ranked Endicott women's ice hockey team shutout Curry by a score of 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Canton Ice House.
Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) took the puck from a Curry defender and beat the goalie five-hole to put the Gulls up 1-0 at 8:44 of the second period.
Ella Rago (Westford, Mass.) doubled the lead at the 15:03 mark in the second off a feed by Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) which allowed the sophomore to slide the puck past the goalie for her fourth goal of the season.
From there, goals by Jo Wimler (Portland, Conn.) and Morris two minutes and eight seconds apart in the third capped the scoring and secured the conference road victory.
Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) made 27 saves en route to her fourth shutout of the season. The junior's record improves to 7-3 on the season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is now 5-2-0 on the road this season.
- Morris now has eight multi-point games this season.
- With her goal today, Hall is now tied for 10th all-time in goals (25 — Ashlie Jones).
- Moritz now has nine career shutout, tying her for fourth all-time (Bailey Thieben).
