No. 12 Women’s Pulls Away From UNE, 3-1
BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 12 Endicott women’s ice hockey team defeated the University of New England (UNE), 3-1, on Saturday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Tied 1-1 in the second period, the Gulls scored twice and never looked back to push their winning streak to six straight games (1/7-1/25).
Lily Anderson (St. Paul, Minn.) redirected a shot in the slot originally taken by Abbey Agrodnia (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) from the right point to break up the stalemate halfway through the stanza (10:00).
Lilly Corso (Winchester, Mass.) extended Endicott's lead to 3-1 just 1:45 seconds later with a snipe from the high slot for her second tally of the season.
Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) and the Gulls' defense shut down UNE the rest of the way, as Morititz concluded the game with 15 saves to improve to 8-3-0 this season (33-8-2 career).
Along with netting her second career game-winner, Anderson buried the game's opening tally at 9:13 of the first period.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 17-3-0 all-time against UNE (winners of seven straight; 10-2-0 at home).
- Freshman Grace Lynch (West Roxbury, Mass.) notched her first career point with a primary assist on Endicott's first goal of the game.
- She finished the contest with two assists, recording her first multi-assist and multi-point effort in her fifth career game.
- The Gulls are 8-1-0 at home this season.
- Agrodnia logged her third multi-point game of the season (2a; 2nd straight multi-point contest).
