Fantasia Named CCM Hockey/AHCA First-Team All-American; First In Program History
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's ice hockey senior forward Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.) has been named as a 2024-25 CCM Hockey/AHCA Division III First-Team East All-American, the organization announced.
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's ice hockey senior forward Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.) has been named as a 2024-25 CCM Hockey/AHCA Division III First-Team East All-American, the organization announced.
Fantasia is the first student-athlete in program history to earn First-Team honors and the third to earn All-America recognition joining Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Alyssa Peterson (Cranberry Township, Pa.). Both Meier and Peterson received second-team honors in 2019-20.
Fantasia was one of 32 players selected for the honor, as voted on by Division III coaches. The senor is also one of eight players from Massachusetts, the most All-Americans by one state.
Among other achievements, she was named as the CNE Player of the Year, CNE First-Team, a Laura Hurd Award Finalist, and now a CCM Hockey/AHCA Division III First Team East All-American.
Her final statistics of 16 goals, a +24 rating, and four game-winning goals all rank inside the top three in the conference, while her 27 points ranks top five. Nationally, Fantasia finished the season ranked inside the top 20 in goals per game (.57).
Across Endicott's record books, Fantasia tied the record for goals in a single-season and ranked third in plus/minus along with fourth in game-winning goals. The Billerica, Mass. native finishes her career ranked first all-time in plus/minus rating at +64, tied for second in goals (44), second in game-winning goals (14), third all-time in points (84), fifth in assists (40), and ninth in games played with 105 career games.

Endicott recorded a 22-5-1 overall record while going 15-2-1 record in league play this season.
The Gulls earned the No. 1 seed in the CNE Tournament and secured the first-ever CNE Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
Endicott would fall to No. 12 Nazareth, 4-2, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
