BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 6 nationally ranked Endicott women's ice hockey team was bested by No. 11 Hamline, 5-1, in Monday evening's non-conference ranked matchup at Raymond J. Bourque Ice Arena.
After a scoreless first period, the Pipers converted three goals in the second to take a commanding lead. The first goal came on a power play, the second on a loose puck turnover, and the third on a rebound opportunity.
In the third, Mackenzie Graham (Billerica, Mass.) gave the Gulls some momentum back with a goal at the 3:33 mark, making it a 3-1 contest.
However, the Pipers netted consecutive tallies at the 6:39 and 13:06 timestamps to regain a comfortable 5-1 advantage, which they held on to throughout the remainder of the contest.
Lauren Ferrari (Bridgewater, N.J.) made the start between the pipes and picked up 35 saves. Celia Dahl (Orono, Minn.) checked in late and made two saves.
