Moritz Claims CNE Goalie of the Week
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey goalie Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) has been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Goalie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Moritz collected her 1,000th career save in a 3-1 win over Curry on Friday night.
The senior netminder stopped a season-high 36 shots (.973) to become the second goalie in program history to eclipse the 1,000 career save plateau. The 36 saves were also a career-high for the Trophy Club, Texas native.
The honor is Moritz's eighth career Goalie of the Week selection (10/30/23, 12/11/23, 1/8/24, 1/22/24, 2/12/24, 12/16/24, 1/21/25) and first this season.
