Corso Takes Home CNE Player of the Week
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey defender Lilly Corso (Winchester, Mass.) has been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
In Endicott's weekend sweep of Suffolk, Corso scored two goals and had two assists for four points. The junior was also tied for the team high at +3 during the week, adding a game-winning goal.
On Friday night against the Rams, Corso tied the program record for the most points in a single game with two goals and two assists. After Suffolk got on the board first, Corso tied the game with a shot from the point following a faceoff win.
She then scored the game-winning goal in the second period while on the power play. The game-winning goal was her second of the season and third of her career.
The Winchester, Mass. native then added five shots in Endicott's 3-1 road win over Suffolk on Saturday.
