Gulls Advance to the Semi-Final in CCC Play

Beverly, MA - Endicott College played their first round of the CCC conference tournament against sixth seed University of New England today at home in their stadium. The Gulls entered the tournament seeded third below New England College (\#1) and Gordon College (\#2). During regular season play the Gulls suffered losses to both the \#1 and \#2 seed by just one goal each.

Three Endicott players finished with five points against the UNE Nor'easters. Cathy Sharp (So/Rutland, VT) had a natural hat trick in the first three minutes of the game, and found the net twice more for five goals. Katie White (Sr/Ridgefield, CT) netted three goals and handed out two assists, and Lindsey O'Connell (Fr/Mansfield, MA) found the net on four separate occassions, dishing out one assist.

Also scoring for the Gulls were Christine Wilmott (Jr/Barre, VT) with four goals, Lauren Gibbons (So/Shaker Heights, OH) with two, and Jess Blair (Jr/Middlebury, VT) with one. Hannah Watson (Fr/Shaftsbury, VT) and Susie Neikirk (So/Scotia, NY) each had one assist.

EC goalkeepers Katie Tavella (So/Madison, CT) and Erin Curry (Fr/Hampstead, NH) combined for 10 saves against the Nor'easters.

The Gulls travel to play \#2 Gordon College in the CCC Semi-Final away at Gordon on Thursday, April 29 at 4:00 pm.
