The Gulls Fall to Gordon, 11-6

The Gulls fell to the Fighting Scots of Gordon College in an 11-6 loss at Gordon. Endicott's overall record drops to 11-3 and to 5-2 in Commonwealth Coast Conference. Gordon improves their CCC record to 6-2.
The Fighting Scots scored three consecutive early goals in the first half and never lost their lead. The Gulls tried to answer back in the first half with goals from Lauren Gibbons, Lindsey O'Connell, Cathy Sharp, and Christine Wilmott, but it was Gordon on top at the half, 7-4.
Gordon came out of the half and scored two quick goals on the Gulls to give them a 9-4 lead. Wilmott netted two more goals in the second, however in the end it was the Fighting Scots with an 11-6 victory in this cross town rivalry game.
Sophomore goalkeeper Erin Curry made eight saves in the first half and four in the second, for a total of 12 saves.
The Gulls look to finish their season with a CCC victory over Salve Regina in their last regular season game. The game will be played at Salve's home field on April 23, 2005 at 3pm.
