    Sharp Earns All-Regional Honors

    BEVERLY, MA - Endicott senior attack Cathy Sharp (Rutland, VT/Rutland) was named to the 2006 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III All-Regional Team.

    Sharp enjoyed a spectacular four-year career at Endicott College which culminated in the Gulls first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference title and automatic bid to the club's first NCAA Tournament.

    The CCC Player of the Year piled up 16 goals in three playoff games, including seven goals in the title-clinching victory over Curry College (16-12). In leading Endicott to a 17-3 record, Sharp amassed 77 goals and eight assists for 85 points. Her 77 goals and 85 points were among the NCAA Division III leaders. She was named to the Pilgrim Region Second Team of the IWLCA All-Regional Teams.

    With the IWLCA All-Regional nomination Sharp is now eligible for the IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-America Team, which will be announced May 30. The IWLCA and US Lacrosse will honor the National All-Americans at an awards banquet on June 10, 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland.
