    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman midfielder Jaira Paine (Granby, Conn.) has received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first in her career, as announced by the league office earlier today.

    CCC WEEKLY AWARDS RELEASE

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman midfielder Jaira Paine (Granby, Conn.) has received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first in her career, as announced by the league office earlier today.

    Last week against Gordon (4/1), the Gulls' defense had a great showing in its 19-4 win over the Fighting Scots. Endicott held the Fighting Scots to just seven shots in total. Individually, Paine won four ground balls and caused two turnovers.

    Endicott (2-1, 2-0 CCC) hosts Western New England University on Wednesday, April 7 at 4:30 PM.
