KEENE, N.H. — The Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated Keene State, 17-2, in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon at Owl Athletic Complex.
The Gulls used a 10-0 start over the first 20 minutes of action to propel them past the Owls, and the lead was never in doubt from that point.
Ava Amara (Southbury, Conn.) led the way for the Gulls with four goals.
Abbie Belleville (Salem, Conn.), Leah Black (Cheshire, Conn.), Sophia Notine (Kennebunk, Maine), Mia Smith (Portsmouth, N.H.), and Clare Wendell (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) all found the back of the net twice.
Olivia Francis (Simsbury, Conn.), Kendal Kelsey (Queensbury, N.Y.), and Abby MacDonald (Wrentham, Mass.) rounded out the scoring for the Blue and Green with solo tallies.
In goal Severine Michel (Seekonk, Mass.) picked up the victory (3-0 record) with two saves.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott improved to 8-5 in the all-time series against Keene St.
- Amara scored a career-high in goals.
- Third multi-goal game of Notine's career.
- First career goal for Francis and MacDonald.

Endicott (3-0) opens conference play as it visits UNE on Thursday, March 12 at 4 PM. Keene St. (0-4) continues non-conference play when it hosts Hartford on Thursday at 4 PM.
