Women's Lacrosse Downs Nichols, 24-6
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated Nichols, 24-6, in a Conference of New England (CNE) matchup on Tuesday evening at Hempstead Stadium.
Seventeen different Gulls found the back of the net in the dominant victory, highlighted by a five-goal performance from Mia Smith (Portsmouth, N.H.).
Emerson Clark (Gloucester, Mass.), Abbie Belleville (Salem, Conn.), and Leah Black (Cheshire, Conn.) each added two goals in the victory.
Clare Wendell (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), Sophia Notine (Kennebunk, Maine), Annabelle Gray (Londonderry, Vt.), Grace McAfee (Upper Township, N.J.), Abby Giannetti (Amherst, N.H.), Mia Kaczmarek (South Burlington, Vt.), Kendal Kelsey (Queensbury, N.Y.), Maggie Holt (Cumberland Foreside, Maine), Sarah Brunelle (Pelham, N.H.), Abby MacDonald (Wrentham, Mass.), Keira Fletcher (Ranchos Palos Verdes, Calif.), Kenzie Velsmid (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.), and Libby Hooper (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) all found the back of the net once to round out the scoring.
Severine Michel (Seekonk, Mass.) and Emma Budke (Rye, N.H.) each logged 30 minutes in goal, with Michel moving to 8-4 on the season and Budke adding two saves in the victory.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is a perfect 26-0 all-time against Nichols.
- Smith recorded her 11th multi-goal game of the season.
- With her four draw controls today, Smith moves into 5th all-time with 159.
- Black is now up to 7th all-time in assists with 73.
- McCafee dished out a career-high four assists.

Endicott (11-4, 8-0 CNE) hosts Hartford on Saturday, April 18, at 12 PM for Senior Day. Nichols (6-5, 4-4 CNE) travels to Suffolk University on Saturday, April 18, at 12 PM.
