Women’s Rugby Earns National Collegiate Rugby Academic Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. — Five members of the Endicott women’s rugby team have received National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Scholastic All-America honors for their efforts in the classroom during the 2020-21 academic year, as announced by the organization yesterday.

BEVERLY, Mass. — Five members of the Endicott women's rugby team have received National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Scholastic All-America honors for their efforts in the classroom during the 2020-21 academic year, as announced by the organization yesterday.
Melissa Drexler (Duxbury, Mass.), Amelia George (Holyoke, Mass.), Natalie Shambo (Hopkinton, Mass.), Jourdan VanAmburgh (Selkirk, N.Y.), and Amanda Wisbeck (Hong Kong, China) were all named NCR Scholastic All-Americans by meeting the following criteria:
- Must have maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic year
- Actively participated in either an A-Side 15s, 10s, or 7s match with their school's rugby program.
The Gulls were one of four programs to place five student-athletes on the NCR Scholar All-America list, tying for the second-highest total among all schools across the country.
