SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The fifth-seeded Endicott women's soccer team defeated the fourth-seeded Golden Bears of Western New England 1-0 in the second overtime in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon. The junior led the Endicott attack all day, finishing with match-highs of seven shots five shots on goal.

Endicott held a 20-12 advantage in shots in the match, including a 10-4 advantage in shots on goal. Keeper Kayla Wentworth (Taunton, Mass.) made four saves, earning her fifth shutout of the season, and 10th win overall.

  • With the win today, the Gulls have now won 10 matches or more in 13 of the 15 seasons under head coach Jodi Kenyon.
  • Earlier this season, the Gulls knocked off Gordon 1-0 at home, the only loss Gordon would take in regular season CCC play.
