Gulls Remain Undefeated
Beverly, MA--In their second match of the season, the Endicott women's tennis team came away with another convincing victory. Defeating the Eastern Nazarene Crusaders, by a score of 9-0, the Gulls are 2-0 in their 2004 season.
In the Commonwealth Coast Conference match-up, the Gulls came away with victories in all the singles and doubles. Battling against Crusader Natalie Mlyniec, Blythe Langley won her \#1 singles match, 6-2, 6-3. Also playing and winning at singles were \#2 Carli Conners (6-1, 6-0), Lauren Gibbons (6-0, 6-1), Brianne Cogan (6-0, 6-0), Stephanie Branch (6-1, 6-1) and Nicole Leveille (6-0, 6-1).
Langley and Gibbons teamed up in doubles, defeating their opponents, 8-1. Conners and Cogan won their doubles match, 8-0. And in the same fashion, Leveille and Branch defeated their opponents 8-0.
Playing well in their doubles exhibition match were senior Eulalia Zukas and sophomore Viktoria Carlegren. The two teamed up, and came away with a victory, defeating their opponents by a score of 8-5.
The Gulls travel to Colby-Sawyer College, this Tuesday, the match is set to start at 4PM.
