Gulls Fall to Gordon College

The Gulls were up against a tough Gordon College squad yesterday in tennis action. The Gulls fought hard, but fell by a score of 8-1.

Number three singles Lauren Gibbons came away with a win against Gordon's Erin Ovalle in two sets winning 6-4, 6-2. Number six player Nicole Leveille nearly came away with a win taking her opponent into three sets, with a second set tiebreak win 7-6 (7-2). The number one doubles team of Blythe Langley and Lauren Gibbons had a close match and were neck and neck until they succumbed at 7-9.

The women host Roger Williams on Saturday, September 25 at 12pm.
