EC Defeats RWU, 7-2

Beverly, MA-- In Commonwealth Coast Conference tennis action, the Gulls defeated Roger Williams University, 7-2. The Gulls took four of the six singles matches, and all three doubles matches.

Blythe Langley and Lauren Gibbons were partners in the first doubles match, defeating their competition, 8-5. They both won their singles matches by a score of 6-1, 6-1. Carli Conners and Brianne Cogan teamed up for second doubles, defeating their Roger Williams opponents, 8-6. Cogan won her singles match, 6-0, 6-2. Stephanie Branch and Nicole Leveille won their doubles match in a tiebreaker, 9-8 (7-5). Branch won her singles match, 7-6 (9-3), 6-2.

The Gulls host CCC member, Regis College this Tuesday at 3:30PM.
