Tennis Rolls Over Curry

BEVERLY, MA - The Endicott women's tennis team swept its third consecutive CCC opponent, defeating the Curry College Colonels 9-0. The shut out gives the 5-1 Gulls four on the season.
The women lost only one set in the entire match and two players, Brianne Cogan (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga) and Lori Warder (Wrentham, MA/King Philip Regional) did not lose a game.
The singles winners were: 1.) Carli Conners (Medina, OH/Medina) 6-3,6-1 2.) Brianne Cogan 6-0,6-0 3.) Nicole Breting (Woonsocket, RI/Mount St. Charles) 6-2,6-1 4.) Lori Wardner 6-0,6-0 5.) Alyson Boehm (Lowell, MA/Lowell) 6-4,2-6 (10-8) 6.) Jenna Carme (Greenfield, MA/Greenfield) 6-2,6-2
The doubles winners were: 1.) Carli Conners and Lori Wardner 8-4 2.) Bri Cogan and Nicole Breting 8-3 3.) Jenna Carme and Kate Fiske (Westerly, RI/Westerly) 8-6
The Gulls travel to North Shore rival Salem State on September 21 to make up a rained out match from earlier in the season.
