Gulls Roll to Victory

BEVERLY, MA - Commonwealth Coast Conference co-Rookie of the Week Nicole Breting (Woonsocket, RI/Mount St. Charles) picked up a singles win and partnered up with Brianne Cogan (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga) for a doubles win to lead the Gulls to a 7-2 victory over Salem State.
Breting won 6-1, 6-1 in the third singles spot, while she and Cogan won 8-6 in the second doubles slot. Other winners for Endicott were Lori Wardner (Wrentham, MA/King Philip Regional) (6-3, 6-2) in fourth singles, Alyson Boehm (Lowell, MA/Lowell) (6-4, 4-6, 7-5) in fifth singles and Jenna Carme (Greenfield, MA/Greenfield) picked up a win in the sixth singles spot.
The Gulls also swept doubles play with Carli Conners (Medina, OH/Medina) and Wardner bouncing back from singles losses to win 8-5 at first doubles. Cogan and Breting took second doubles, while Kate Fiske (Westerly, RI/Westerly) and Carme added a win at third doubles besting the Salem State pair 8-5.
Endicott improves to 6-1 on the season (3-1 CCC) they will next take on CCC rivals Nichols College Saturday afternoon in Beverly.
