QUINCY, Mass. - The Endicott College Gulls remained unbeaten as they shutout the Eastern Nazarene Crusaders 9-0 in conference action on Wednesday. The win moves the Gulls to a perfect 6-0 (4-0 TCCC) record while the Crusaders drop to 1-5 (1-4 TCCC) on the season. The Gulls were led by current TCCC Player of the Week Nicole Breting (Johnston, R.I.) who was able to win in both \#1 singles and \#1 doubles.
In doubles play, Breting was able to team up with partner Lori Wardner (Wrentham, Mass.) for a 8-1 victory over Allison Cammarata (Marion, Mass.) and Katie Madison (Longview, Wash.). Senior teammates Jenna Carme (Greenfield, Mass.) and Kate Fiske (Westerly, R.I.) were able to beat Amy Casey (Hampden, Mass.) and Laura Keith (West Bridgewater, Mass.) 8-3, while juniors Alyson Boehm (Lowell, Mass.) and Rachel Layton (Falmouth, Maine) beat Nehemie Suzin (Columbia, Md.) and Arielle Nazareth (Warwick, R.I.) 8-2. The Gulls have yet to lose a doubles match thus far in the season after going 3-0 on Wednesday.
