Endicott rolls over Curry, 8-1

MILTON, Mass. – The Endicott College women’s tennis team rebounded from their third loss of the season with an 8-1 victory over Curry College in TCCC action on Saturday afternoon in Milton, Mass. The Gulls improve to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the TCCC while the Colonels drop to 2-8 and 2-5 in the conference.
The Gulls took two-of-three doubles matches as \#Kate Cioffi\# (Essex, Vt.) and \#Alyson Boehm\# (Lowell, Mass.) defeated Lauren Maloney and Allison Weisenbach at No. 1 doubles. \#Nicole Breting\# (Johnston, R.I.) and \#Lori Wardner\# (Wrentham, Mass.) swept the Colonels, 8-0, in No. 2 doubles while Curry picked up their lone point of the day in No. 3 doubles as Kate Johnson and Jessica Spinale defeated \#Rachel Layton\# (Falmouth, Maine) and \#Emily Annis\# (Hampton, N.H.), 8-6.
Endicott swept all six singles matches while dropping only 11 games combined in all six matchups.
The Blue and Green return to action on Monday when the Gulls dip into non-conference action against Rhode Island College in Providence, R.I. at 3:30 p.m.
