Gulls and Seahawks postponed to Wednesday

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott College women’s tennis team will need to wait another day to begin the defense of its 2008 TCCC Championship, as the Gulls’ quarterfinal match-up with Salve Regina University has been rescheduled to Wednesday due to wet court conditions in Beverly, Mass. The Gulls and the Seahawks will start their match at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
Endicott earned the No. 3 overall seed in this year’s tournament as the Blue and Green posted a 12-3 record and a 9-2 mark in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. Salve Regina snatched the six-seed with an even .500 mark (6-6 overall) and a 6-5 ledger in Conference play. Endicott defeated SRU 6-3 in the two team’s only meeting of the season on September 19.
