Foley, Berler Sweep CCC Weekly Awards

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's tennis student-athletes Cameron Foley (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Olivia Berler (Marstons Mills, Mass.) have both earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league's office earlier today. Foley earned her first-ever CCC Player of The Week award, while Berler won her second CCC Rookie of The Week award.

Foley contributed two points in Endicott's 6-3 win over Bridgewater State this week. She picked up an 8-1 victory at No. 3 doubles with partner Cara McCormack (Worcester, Mass.) and then earned a straight-set 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles. 

Berler picked up a victory at No. 1 singles in the win over Bridgewater State. After dropping the first set 7-6 (8-6) in a tiebreaker, she went on to win the second set 6-1 and a hard-fought super tiebreaker 12-10.

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (2-0) travels to Merrimack on Tuesday, September 10 for a 3 PM match, and to Nichols for their first CCC match of the season on Thursday, September 12 at 3:30 PM.
