BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott College Women's Tennis team fell to Wheaton (Mass.), 7-0, in a non-conference matchup to conclude their season Saturday afternoon at the South Campus Tennis Courts.
Wheaton (Mass.) earned the first point of the match in doubles action. Despite the setback, the Gulls' No. 2 pairing of Abbey Fleming (Wolfeboro, N.H.) / Amber Woods (Scarborough, Maine) were victorious, 6-4.
Nadia Uzelac (Waltham, Mass.) battled at the No. 4 position in singles, forcing a third, but ultimately came up short, 2-6, 6-3, 5-10.
BEYOND THE BOX
- The doubles pairing of Fleming and Woods recorded their ninth victory together this season.
- In total, Woods compiled 19 victories between singles and doubles.
- The Lyons improved to 4-2 on the road.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott's season concluded with a final record of 9-12. Wheaton (Mass.) improves to 9-7 and will host Smith College this Tuesday for a 4:00 PM start.
