    BOSTON, Mass. – Endicott women’s track and field senior Nicole D’Angelo (Readfield, Maine) qualified for the NCAA Division III New England Championships in the shot put on Friday afternoon at the Boston University (BU) David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

    BOSTON, Mass. – Endicott women's track and field senior Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) qualified for the NCAA Division III New England Championships in the shot put on Friday afternoon at the Boston University (BU) David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

    D'Angelo finished 21st overall out of 30 competitors in the event with a toss of 37-feet and 8-inches.

    Her mark, which surpassed the D3 qualifying standard by nearly a foot (36-8), ranked better than five Division I student-athletes, three Division 2 competitors, and one Division 3 entrant.

    D'Angelo currently holds the school record in the shot, both the indoor (40-9.5) and outdoor (39-3.75), respectively.

    Endicott will compete in the Hampshire College Black Sheep Invitational tomorrow in Brighton, Mass. At the TRACK at new balance.
