BEVERLY, Mass. — Five members of the Endicott women's track and field team have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Bianca Del Maestro (Malden, Mass.) was named the CCC Track Athlete of the Week to headline the Gulls.
Brianna am Ende (East Lyme, Conn.), Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.), Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.), and Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.) also received CCC Relay Team of the Week accolades, rounding out the list of award winners.
Last Saturday at the Sean Collier Invitational, Del Maestro competed in four events, finishing in the top-5 in all of them.
The highlight of her meet was the 100m hurdles in which she took first place with a school record time of 14.74. The time placed her 36th on the NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field Qualifying List.
Del Maestro also finished third in both the 100m and 200m dashes, beating several Division I runners with times of 12.63 and 26.74, respectively.
She was also a part of the Endicott 4x100m relay that placed third.
Meanwhile, am Ende, Rischitelli, Risko, and Shepard combined for a first place finish in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:19.41.
The Gulls lead the CCC with three Relay Team of the Week awards this season, with two coming in the 4x400m relay.
