Griffith Breaks High Jump School Record At Crimson Open
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Endicott sophomore jumper Abby Griffith (Franklin, Mass.) shattered the indoor high jump school record on Friday evening at the Crimson Open, hosted by Harvard University.
Griffith broke her record in the event by three inches, clearing a personal best height of 5-4.25.
The sophomore placed ninth overall (tied) out of 24 competitors, ranking higher than nine NCAA Division I student-athletes, one D2 competitor, three D3 jumpers, and one unattached athlete.
Griffith now holds both the indoor (5-4.25) and outdoor (5-3.25) high jump school records.
Meanwhile, in the triple jump, Griffith registered a mark of 35-0.25, good enough for 11th place overall in a loaded field mostly made up of D1 student-athletes.
