Women's Track & Field Produces Strong Showing At Jim Sheehan Invite
FITCHBURG, Mass. — The Endicott women's track and field team competed at the Jim Sheehan Invite on Saturday afternoon, hosted by Fitchburg State University.
Sophomore Abby Griffith (Franklin, Mass.) led the way for the Gulls with a first place finish in the triple jump.
Griffith posted an NCAA D3 New England Championship provisional auto-qualifying leap of 35-9.50 to win the event.
She was one of two Gulls to post a top-10 finish in the field of 27 competitors.
On the track, Tiana Brown (Nashua, N.H.) broke the school record in the 200m dash with a personal best and D3 New England provisional qualifying time of 25.73 (third overall).
Brown also ranked second in the 100m hurdles with a D3 New England auto-qualifying and personal best time of 15.05.
Across all events, Endicott produced one school record, four New England Qualifying marks, 18 personal records, and 20 top-10 finishes.
