Women’s Track & Field Shines On Final Day At New England D3 Outdoor Championships
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Endicott women's track and field team completed the final day of competition at the NCAA Division III New England Championships on Saturday evening, hosted by Springfield College at Blake Track.
Tiana Brown (Nashua, N.H.), Meagan McAndrews (Amesbury, Mass.), Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.), and the 4x400m relay headlined the Gulls.
Brown ranked fourth overall in the 400m hurdles (1:04.94) and fifth overall in the 100m hurdle finals (15.01).
She also competed on the Gulls' 4x100m relay squad (11th place, 50.37).
Meanwhile, McAndrews placed eighth overall in the heptathlon, scoring 3,601 points.
Her results on day two were as follows: 800m run (5th, 2:35.72), long jump (10th, 13-3.75), javelin (4th, 93-7).
Suchy rounded out the list of individual highlights, placing fourth in the 3,000m steeplechase with a school record time of 11:26.30 (previous record: 11:43.78, 5/13/19).
The trio combined to score 15 points in the team standings and earned All-New England honors for finishing top-8 in their respective events, too.
As for the 4x400m relay, Chloe Crear (Pelham, N.H.), Gabby Peniche (Milford, Mass.), Willa McKay (Whitman, Mass.), and Addy Smith (North Kingstown, R.I.) produced a school record performance in 4:08.59 for ninth place overall (previous record: 4:09.35, 5/4/24).
