Gulls drop a pair at Connecticut College

New London, Conn. – The Endicott women’s volleyball team lost a pair of matches on Saturday against two regionally ranked opponents.
The Gulls dropped identical 3-0 decisions to number five Connecticut College and number six Coast Guard.

\#Brittany Phillips\# (Sudbury, Mass.) led the offensive attack with13 kills, but the Gulls dropped all three games by scores of 21-25, 26-28, and 20-25.
\#Ashley Norley\# (Sudbury, Mass.) tallied 13 digs in the loss while \#Sarah Allshouse\# (Berthoud, Colo.) recorded 33 assists.
The Gulls dropped a 3-0 match to Coast Guard (13-25, 11-25, 16-25) in the final match of the afternoon.
Endicott (17-14) was led by junior \#Elyse Barbour\#’s (Greenville, R.I.) seven kills.
Phillips added six kills and Norley had a team-high 11 digs in the loss.

Brittany Phillips moved into a tie for third place in kills. The senior currently has 1,172 kills in her career, tied with Hayley Janelle ’08.
\#Amy Grigg\# (Vernon, Conn.) is 15 blocks shy of Endicott’s all-time block record.
