Nicole Winkler Collects CCC Rookie of the Week Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's volleyball freshman Nicole Winkler (Southborough, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today. 

Winkler hit an eye-catching .706 this week in four sets for Endicott. The Gulls went 2-0 against conference opponents the University of New England and Nichols. Winkler averaged 4.2 points per set in a 3-0 decision against UNE. She averaged 3.00 kills per set and also had two blocks (one solo, one assisted). Then in just one of the team's three sets against Nichols, the first-year middle picked up three kills. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (16-9, 7-1 CCC) will host Coast Guard at home on Wednesday, October 25 at 6 PM.
