Downs, Helenbrook Receive CNE Weekly Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's volleyball juniors Abby Downs (Billerica, Mass.) and Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) have been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Libero and Player of the Week, respectively, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.

Helenbrook averaged 3.71 kills per set (26 kills, .222 hitting percentage) and 4.29 digs per set (30) in a 2-0 week for the Gulls. The junior also went a perfect 34-34 in the serve receive and added four assists, three service aces, and three block assists.
In a 3-1 victory over Gordon last Wednesday, Helenbrook recorded 18 kills (.217) along with a career-high 21 digs. She also had two service aces, one assist, two block assists and was 14-14 in serve receive.
Then in a 3-0 victory over Suffolk on Saturday, the Atlanta, Ga. native recorded eight putaways (.235), nine digs, three assists, and a service ace. She remained perfect in serve receive, as she went 20-20 against the Rams.
This is Helenbrook's 10th career CNE Player of the Week award (9/3/24, 9/9/24, 9/16/24, 10/7/24, 10/14/24, 10/21/24, 11/11/24, 9/2/25, 9/15/25).

Downs averaged 5.00 digs per set (35 total), was 51-57 (.895) in serve receive, recorded six assists, and six service aces in an undefeated 2-0 week for the Gulls.
In a four-set victory against Gordon on Wednesday, the junior recorded 23 digs, three assists, and three service aces. Was also 45-49 (.918) in serve receive. Downs recorded 20 or more digs for the fifth time in season.
She followed up against Suffolk on Saturday, as she logged 12 digs to go along with another three assists and three service aces in a 3-0 sweep of the Rams.
This marks her first career CNE Libero of the Week award.
