Helenbrook Claims AVCA All-America Honorable Mention Accolades
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior outside hitter Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Honorable Mention team.
This is Helenbrook's second career AVCA All-America Honorable Mention award. She was one of 98 student-athletes selected to the list, which is automatically awarded to all AVCA All-Region First Team recipients.
Helenbrook finished the 2025 season with 445 kills (4.20 kills per set), a .207 hitting percentage, 41 assists (0.39), 293 digs (2.76), 20 total blocks (5 solo, 24 assisted, 0.27), 48 service aces (0.45), and 510 points (4.8).
Her current NCAA Division III ranks include: kills per set (23rd), points (23rd), points per set (19th), and total kills (26th).
Helenbrook also led the Conference of New England (CNE) in all four aforementioned categories.
Individual highlights for the Atlanta, Georgia native this season included becoming the newest member of Endicott's 1,000 kill club (9/30), 14 double-doubles (second-most on team), and 11 matches with 20 or more kills.
PROGRAM ALL-AMERICA HISTORY
Helenbrook is one of five student-athletes and the third outside hitter to earn multiple AVCA All-America Honorable Mention accolades in their careers.
Current assistant coach and former Gulls' middle blocker Colleen McAvoy '22 M'23 (Coventry, Conn.) was the first student-athlete in program history to claim AVCA All-America honors when she was selected to the third team in 2021.
Meanwhile, Amanda Gilbert '22 M'23 (Hopkinton, Mass.) became the second AVCA All-American and first outside hitter in program history to garner the award a year later, when she claimed a spot on the second team.
Overall, the Endicott women's volleyball program has compiled two AVCA All-Americans and 13 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention winners.
YEAR IN REVIEW
Endicott posted a 17-12 overall record and 9-1 mark in CNE play. The Gulls advanced to the CNE Championship for the sixth straight season, but fell to Wentworth, 3-1, on the road.
