Bio
Lauren Bennett enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Endicott women's volleyball program in 2025-26.
Bennett joins the staff following a four-year playing career at UMass Lowell from 2013-16, in which she was a three-year starter on the team.
Following her career at UMass Lowell, Bennett continued playing professionally, competing in the USAV Open Nationals AA Division, finished in second place at the VLA Cup in 2023 in Chicago, and even played internationally with Tatabanya RSE in Hungary, where she helped the team finish in eighth place while competing in the second division.
Her coaching experience includes being the Head Coach at Pentucket Regional High School for the school's inaugural volleyball season and a club coach for Evo Volleyball Club. Bennett was also a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Athletic Evolution where she coached power/Olympic weightlifting, mobility, agility, etc. for athletes ages 10-18. Most recently, she has been a Youth Clinic Coach for SMASH Volleyball, where she coaches youth volleyball athletes from 9-18 years old, both male and female, with a wide-ranging skill level.
Bennett earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from UMass Lowell in 2017 while minoring in Nutrition. In 2020, she also earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UMass Lowell and has been a licensed Physical Therapist since August 2020.
