Colleen McAvoy '22 M'23 returns to Endicott as she enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Endicott women's volleyball program in 2025-26.

McAvoy joins the staff following a standout career with the Gulls' volleyball program from 2018-2022.

As a team, Endicott posted an 84-37 (.694) overall record and a 32-2 (.941) conference mark during her career. The Gulls captured three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championships and earned NCAA Tournament berths all three seasons.

Individually, McAvoy played in 87 matches (302 sets) and compiled 645 kills (2.14 k/s), a .344 hitting percentage, and 243 total blocks (37 solo, 206 assisted, 0.80 b/s).

McAvoy's career accolades include four-time all-conference selection (2x first-team and 2x second-team), 2018 CCC Rookie of the Year, 2018 New England Volleyball Association All-Rookie team, 2018 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) New England Rookie of the Year, 2019 AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention, 2x AVCA All-Region First Team, 2021 AVCA All-America Third Team, and 2022 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention.

As of the 2025 season, the former middle blocker/right side ranks third all-time in attack percentage (min. 500 attempts), fourth in block assists, fifth in total blocks, and third in blocks per set.

McAvoy earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Endicott in 2022 and her Master of Business Administration in 2023. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Endicott's office of Graduate Admissions.
