Gulls Place 5th at CCC Championship

EC had a very gutsy performance at last Saturday's CCC Championship meet held on the rain soaked trails of New England College. Captain Erica Spencer led the charge for the Gulls. Spencer completed the rugged 6 kilometer course with a time of 27:15, 27th overall. Despite not being 100 percent, freshman Julianna Osburn ran a tough race finishing just behind Spencer with a time of 27:24 and 29th overall.

Sophomore Katie Fitch aided in the scoring placing 36th (27:57). Rounding out the scoring for the Gulls was junior Jen Abramovitz, 38th place (28:17), and sophomore Andrea Mokray, 44th (29:04).

The women's squad will wrap up their season in two weeks at the New England Regional Meet at Twin Brooks Recreational Center in Cumberland, ME.
